Lisa M. Dietlin is a highly sought-after keynote speaker, the author of several books on enacting positive change, an internationally recognized expert on transformational change, philanthropy, and charitable giving, and the founder of The Institute Of Transformational Philanthropy.

A leading voice in the American nonprofit sector, she is a trusted philanthropic advisor to major corporations and nonprofit organizations, providing expert strategic consulting and guidance on implementing transformational philanthropy practices.

As a keynote speaker, Lisa's subjects include entrepreneurial giving, major gifts fundraising, moves management, and board development, as well as work/life balance, achieving success, and personal change and empowerment.

She is a frequent guest on high profile television and radio programs, and served for two years at CBS TV2 as their in-house Charity Contributor, appearing regularly to educate and inspire viewers on charitable giving.  In addition to contributing articles to a variety of magazines and websites, Lisa is frequently cited in major publications and was a regular contributor to the Huffington Post via her blog “Making a Difference®: The World of Giving.” 

In 2020, Lisa was named one of 'Chicago's 20 Most Inspiring People' and honored at a gala alongside Mayor Lori Lightfoot. Lisa sits on the Women’s Advisory Board for Metropolitan Capital, A Universal Bank, and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She holds a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Chicago's Northwestern, DePaul, and North Park Universities, as well as Assistant Dean of Development at the College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois.
