Jillian Jasper is a contemporary American artist known for her mixed media portraits and sculptures. Using primarily acrylic paint and recycled materials, as well as found and broken objects, she creates whimsical and energetic pieces that invite the viewer to contemplate the magic between the moments of our everyday lives. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, and often incorporates words and her own poetry into her pieces.
Jillian was commissioned by Energy Unltd to paint seven of the subjects interviewed for Energy the show - opening on the 21 July 2023 at Zhou B Art Center, Chicago. She has also created two unique works of art for the Energy Exhibition - “The Divine Feminine” and “Night Forest”.
